KOH Nail Swatch II

ich habe nach einigem Überlegen noch einmal beschlossen die KOH Nagellacke zu testen, obwohl ich beim ersten Mal nicht so überzeugt war. Im Nachhinein bin ich sehr froh, dass ich sie doch noch Mal getestet habe!

after some thinking, I decided to test the nailpolish from KOH again, even though I was not that happy with them the first time I tested them. Now I am really happy, I did test them again!

Dieses Mal habe ich die Farben Rainy und Smokey Violet ausprobiert. Beide waren im Gegensatz zu dem Ton Cherry Blossom! bereits nach der ersten Schicht deckend. Komisch, aber vermutlich lag es an dem hellen Ton von Cherry Blossom!.

This time I tried the shades Rainy and Smokey Violet. For both it was enough to apply one layer only. I did apply two anyways, but I thought it was weird, since Cherry Blossom needed three layers to look nice. Probably it was because Cherry Blossom was such a light shade.

Diesmal haben mir die Farben wirklich zugesagt. Besonder Smokey Violet gefällt mir sehr gut, ich finde auch die Kombination beider Farben sehr schön. Ich bin wirklich froh, dass ich mich noch mal an die KOH Farben gewagt habe, da sie mir vom Tragegefühl gut gefallen und auch die Brillanz der Farben ist toll. Zusätzlich scheinen sie wirklich eine lange Haltbarkeit zu haben. Cherry Blossom hatte, bis ich sie heute abgemacht habe, keine einzige Kante oder Abblätterung, was ich bei anderen Nagellacken, wie P2 oder Catrice, oft nach zwei Tagen habe.

Koh ist für mich bei dunkleren Farben eine absolute Kaufempfehlung und qualitativ (was Haltbarkeit und Brillanz betrifft) mit OPI gleich zu setzen. Bei helleren Tönen würde ich von KOH eher abraten, da sie dann schlechter decken.

This time I really like the shades, especially Smokey Violet. I also like the combination of both shades. To be honest, I am really glad that I did try KOH again, since I really like the brilliance of the colours and also the wearing comfort very much. Additionally the colours seem to have quite a long permanency. I wore Cherry Blossom until today and it did not had any edges or anything, which happens often by cheaper brands. I think i could have kept the colour for some more days on my nails without any problems!

Koh is an absolute must have, if you want to use darker nail polish shades! They are similar to OPI, regarding quality and brilliance. The lighter shades are not that nice and I would not recommend you buying those.
